Job summary

Cerberus Capital Management is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate-level software engineer for the AI team. You will build internal applications that help investment teams and portfolio companies use AI, data, and automation in real workflows.

Responsibilities include designing, implementing and operating production-grade Python services, APIs, and React/TypeScript frontends, plus AI-enabled tools and workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field or equivalent experience.
• Strong production-grade Python and API design skills.
• Experience with FastAPI or similar backend frameworks.
• Frontend experience with React/TypeScript.
• Relational databases and SQL proficiency.
• Experience building AI-powered analytics or workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build internal AI-enabled applications spanning backend services and frontends.
• Develop workflows and integrations on enterprise data sources and APIs.
• Create AI agents for analytics, data management and automation.
• Ensure production-grade reliability, observability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver usable, secure products.
