Job summary

Vencora is seeking an entry-level Software Developer I (Analyst) for a hybrid role that blends foundational development with data and reporting responsibilities. You’ll work on The Platform using JavaScript/Node.js or C#, write SQL queries, and support basic reporting while collaborating with senior developers and the Data Analyst.

As part of Covenir’s AI-assisted development model, you’ll refine AI drafts and document your work for review.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of software development experience or coursework with JavaScript/Node.js, C#, or similar language.
• Basic SQL for data extraction and reporting.
• Working knowledge of Azure cloud services (Container Apps, Blob Storage).
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub or another version control system.
• Basic understanding of authentication and access frameworks (Auth0, 2FA, RBAC).
• Foundational knowledge of insurance BPO processes across Platform modules (Print, Call Center, Virtual Mailroom, Premium & Lockbox).
• Willingness to learn Covenir Platform architecture and AI/API sandbox during onboarding.
• Ability to produce clear, concise documentation for senior review.
• Structured onboarding across Platform modules and data security training.
• Equivalent practical experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Build and fix small-to-medium features on The Platform in JavaScript/Node.js, C#, or equivalent.
• Write SQL queries for data extraction, basic reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Support basic reporting and data requests bridging Data Analyst and Software Developer II roles.
• Use Git/GitHub for version control on assigned work.
• Apply AI-assisted development and analysis tools as part of Covenir’s 80/20 model.
• Document work clearly for senior review without walkthroughs.
• Follow Agile sprint assignments focusing on critical projects set by the R&D Manager.
