Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY in La Vista, NE is seeking a Junior Software Developer to join our software team. You will help build, maintain, and improve web-based business applications powering our operations, and collaborate closely with senior engineers.

You will contribute across the full stack—writing C# and SQL on the back end, building responsive front ends, and troubleshooting real applications used daily by internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of software development experience.
• Demonstrated experience with at least one object-oriented language and basic SQL.
• A portfolio, GitHub profile, or sample projects showing your work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and maintain clean, well-documented code as part of a collaborative development team.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and reports against relational databases.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and user-reported issues.
• Participate in code reviews, giving and receiving constructive feedback.
• Use version control to manage changes and collaborate through branches and pull requests.
• Work with senior developers to translate requirements into working software.

Requirements
