Job summary

Prescient Edge is seeking a Junior Software Developer to join our team in Stennis, MS. The successful candidate will work on web applications and data-driven platforms, interfacing with government and civilian agencies as required.

The role emphasizes learning, coding, testing, and producing technical documentation, with opportunities to grow in aviation-focused data systems. The position requires collaboration with other developers to solve complex data challenges, including real-time sensing

Qualifications

• Knowledge of web applications, relational databases, and related programming languages and tools.
• Ability to write technical reports and other documentation.
• Experience interfacing with government or civilian agencies may be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Applies working knowledge of web applications, relational databases, and related programming languages, tools, technologies.
• Develops interfaces to include interactive webpages and web services.
• Possesses sufficient writing skills to prepare and generate technical reports and other documentation pertinent to the position.
• Interfaces with government and civilian agencies as required.
• Be responsible for analysis, coding, testing, documenting processes, and applications from detailed requirements.
• Participate in the preparation of specifications, developing software through delivering customer focused end items.
• Learn and gain real world experience from a world class organization while working closely with other developers to solve complex data challenges for the Government. Our primary focus is aviation platforms with external sensors for data collection and surveillance with opportunities in mobile and marine environments.
