ISSE Services in Clearfield, UT is seeking a Junior Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to monitor, detect, investigate, and respond to security threats. You will work with the SOC team on event analysis, incident response, investigations, and other duties, with growth opportunities for driven candidates.

The role offers 24/7 support, with day, swing, and grave shifts. A bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or related field and 1–2 years SOC experience are required, along with Security+ or

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity or IT.
• 1–2 years in a SOC, security operations, or incident response role.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent communication; ability to work under pressure.
• CompTIA Security+ or DoD 8140 equivalent certification

Responsabilidades

• Perform 24x7x365 monitoring, detection, investigation, and response to security threats.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication throughout all SOC activities.
• Use SIEM, EDR/MDR, vulnerability management tools, and compliance tools to monitor and investigate alerts.
• Conduct initial triage to validate alerts and eliminate false positives.
• Follow established playbooks and checklists created by the program security team.
• Create, update, and maintain incident tickets with accurate documentation in the program’s ticketing system.
• Perform basic containment actions when an incident is identified.
