Job summary

Related Companies is seeking a Cybersecurity/SOC Analyst I with at least three years of SOC experience to monitor, detect, respond, and analyze threats across the enterprise. The role emphasizes threat intelligence, incident handling, and collaboration with system administrators to remediate vulnerabilities.

The position requires a 24/7 SOC background, a technical bachelor's degree, and strong documentation skills. Evening/weekend work may be required, with a competitive base salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent IT security experience.
• 3+ years of direct information security or SOC experience.
• Certifications in cybersecurity are preferred (CySA+, CCNA, GCIH, GCFA, etc.).
• MITRE ATT&CK Defender certs are a plus but not required.
• Willingness to work outside regular hours as needed.
• Strong time management and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Detect threats across attack stages and analyze detections in security tools to guide remediation.
• Lead incident response activities including host triage, malware analysis, and remote analysis.
• Maintain security monitoring tools and assist process improvements for SOC efficiency.
• Document all incident activities and contribute to playbooks and procedures.
• Collaborate with admins to remediate risks and support enterprise security.
