Job summary

Related Companies is seeking a Cybersecurity/SOC Analyst I with at least three years in an SOC. You will focus on threat monitoring, detection, response, analysis, and cyber threat intelligence to protect the enterprise.

Responsibilities include threat detection across attack stages, incident response activities, maintaining monitoring tools, and documenting all incident activities. Eligible candidates have a 24/7 SOC background and security certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in IT with cybersecurity certifications.
• Minimum 3 years of direct information security experience.
• Experience in a 24/7 SOC environment.
• Industry certifications (CySA+, CCNA, GCIH, GCFA) preferred.
• MITRE ATT&CK Defender certifications preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work outside regular business hours.

Responsibilities

• Detect threats through all attack stages and investigate detections to determine remediation actions.
• Perform incident response activities such as host triage, malware analysis and remediation.
• Maintain security monitoring tools.
• Develop processes to improve incident response times and SOC functions.
• Document all activities during an incident.
