Cintel, Inc. is seeking a Junior SOC Operations Analyst to join our Huntsville-based Security Operations Center. The role supports 24/7 monitoring, incident detection, and response across the enterprise on a rotating shift schedule.

The ideal candidate has foundational cybersecurity knowledge, hands-on exposure to SIEM tools, and a drive to learn in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree required.

Qualifications

• Foundational cybersecurity knowledge and incident response exposure.
• Ability to analyze events and communicate findings clearly.
• Experience with SIEM platforms or security monitoring tools is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor networks in real-time for security issues and suspicious activity.
• Investigate and respond to security breaches and incidents.
• Document breaches and assess impact of each incident.
• Triage and analyze alerts from SIEM and other security tools.
• Perform forensic analysis of digital artifacts and log data.
• Assist with penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Support deployment and monitoring of security technologies.
• Generate incident reports and contribute to root cause analysis.
