Job summary

Cintel Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level SOC Operations Analyst to support Watch-Floor Operations on a rotating shift at Redstone Arsenal. The role emphasizes monitoring, analysis, and rapid response to security events across the enterprise.

You will work in a 24/7 SOC, handle incident triage, forensics, and remediation guidance, and collaborate on improving security postures. A TS clearance and SIEM experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Splunk ES experience and security tooling.
• Solid knowledge of threats, attack vectors, and mitigation.
• Familiarity with IDS/IPS, logs, and network protocols.
• Strong communication and problem-solving under pressure.
• Ability to work on rotating shift schedules and in a SOC.

Responsibilities

• Monitor networks in real time for security issues and anomalies.
• Investigate, respond to breaches and incidents; assess impact.
• Document breaches and support root-cause analysis.
• Triage and analyze security alerts from SIEM tools.
• Perform forensic analysis of artifacts and logs.
• Assist with vulnerability assessments and remediation.
• Support deployment and monitoring of security controls.
• Generate incident reports and contribute to lessons learned.
• Participate in Incident Response Team tasks.
