Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort, LLC is seeking a Junior Instructor for the Snowsports School this seasonal, part-time role. The program supports groups of children learning to ski or ride on the mountain, offering a first job experience and leadership development with seasoned instructors.

Pay rate is $15.00/hr. The position requires ability to lift 25 lbs, being 14 or older, and reliable transportation. Work includes weekends and holidays as part of a dynamic mountain team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 14 years of age.
• Able to ski or snowboard at an intermediate ("blue square") level.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructors in teaching groups of children on the slopes.
• Help maintain a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment.
• Demonstrate and communicate Snowsports techniques clearly and enthusiastically.
• Support children in the House Mouse program (indoor care for those no longer skiing).
• Provide professional, friendly interactions with both kids and families.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance in uniform (helmet, jacket, and name tag required).
• Show knowledge of Jiminy Peak's services, including lodging, food & beverage, and lifts.
• Be punctual, reliable, and ready to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Uphold Jiminy Peak's mission, vision, and core values.
