Job summary

Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort, LLC is seeking a Junior Instructor for the Snowsports School this season. This seasonal, part-time role welcomes ages 14+ and offers a first-job on the mountain, learning from seasoned instructors while supporting groups of children learning to ski or ride.

You will help create a safe, positive learning environment, demonstrate techniques, and be reliable for weekend and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 14 years of age.
• Able to ski at an intermediate (“blue square”) level.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructors in teaching groups of children on the slopes
• Help maintain a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment
• Demonstrate and communicate Snowsports techniques clearly and enthusiastically
• Support children in the House Mouse program (indoor care for those no longer skiing)
• Provide professional, friendly interactions with both kids and families
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance in uniform (helmet, jacket, and name tag required)
• Show knowledge of Jiminy Peak’s services, including lodging, food & beverage, and lifts
• Be punctual, reliable, and ready to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays

Join our Snowsports School as a Junior Instructor and gain valuable experience working alongside seasoned instructors while supporting groups of children learning to ski or ride.
