Job summary

Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort, LLC is seeking a Seasonal Junior Snowsports Instructor (Part-Time) for ages 14+. You’ll help teach groups of children on the slopes and support the House Mouse program, earning $15.00 per hour.

As part of a fun, energetic team, you’ll demonstrate skiing and snowboarding techniques, maintain a safe learning environment, and communicate with kids and families. Weekend and holiday shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 14 years of age.
• Able to snowboard at an intermediate level.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructors in teaching groups of children on the slopes.
• Help maintain a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment.
• Demonstrate and communicate snowsport techniques clearly and enthusiastically.
• Support children in the House Mouse program (indoor care for those no longer skiing).
• Provide professional, friendly interactions with kids and families.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance in uniform (helmet, jacket, and name tag required).
• Show knowledge of Jiminy Peak's services, including lodging, food & beverage, and lifts.
• Be punctual, reliable, and ready to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Join our Snowsports School as a Junior Instructor and gain valuable experience working alongside seasoned instructors while supporting groups of children learning to ski or ride. This is a great way to build leadership skills, share your love of winter sports, and be part of a fun, energetic team. Pay rate $15.00/hr
