Job summary

CBX Solutions in the United States seeks a skilled Field Technician to install, configure, and test access control devices, CCTV cameras, NVRs, and related security systems in new construction and retrofit projects. You will work under a Project Manager and coordinate with field technicians to meet milestones, ensure safety, and maintain quality control.

Minimum certifications in VMS and at least one access control system are required, along with OSHA-10 and camera training.

Qualifications

• Hold and retain certification in at least two VMS systems.
• Hold and retain certification in at least one access control system.
• Have a minimum one year of experience with basic configuration of physical security systems.
• Attended training for at least one camera manufacturer with certificate.
• OSHA-10 certificate required.
• Field Technician experience of at least two years.

Responsibilities

• Install access control devices and electrified door hardware.
• Install and connect access control panels, power supplies and control equipment.
• Install and program CCTV cameras (analog and IP) and NVRs.
• Install cable and pathway systems to support security systems.
• Lead a group of field technicians and coordinate with Project Manager.
• Maintain high quality control and ensure job-site safety.
• Provide end-user training and participate in commissioning and testing.
