Job summary

PepsiCo seeks a Junior Scientist to perform end-to-end analytical testing of food products, prepare samples per approved methods, and deliver timely, high-quality data. You will support instrument readiness and contribute to method development and continuous improvement initiatives under the Analytical Technical Manager.

The role involves collaboration with Product Development, Quality, Manufacturing, and R&D, with emphasis on safety, GLP, and compliance.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years of laboratory experience in industrial, research, or analytical environment.
• Experience performing analytical testing and maintaining laboratory documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end analytical testing according to approved methods and protocols.
• Prepare samples, standards, and reagents for testing.
• Collect, analyze, and document analytical results promptly.
• Maintain data integrity and accurate documentation in lab systems.
