Job summary

PepsiCo seeks a Junior Scientist to perform end-to-end analytical laboratory testing of food products, prepare samples, and maintain accurate records. You will support instrument readiness, data delivery, and cross-functional collaboration.

The role participates in method development, quality monitoring, and continuous improvement while ensuring safety and GLP compliance. Requires BS or MS in a related field and 2–3 years of lab experience.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Execute routine and non-routine analytical testing according to approved methods and protocols.
• Prepare samples, standards, and reagents for laboratory testing activities.
• Collect, analyze, document, and communicate analytical results in a timely manner.
• Maintain data integrity and accurate documentation in laboratory systems.
• Support investigation of technical issues and corrective actions.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and coordinate routine maintenance.
• Monitor supplies and support inventory management.
• Assist with sample receipt, tracking, storage, and disposal.
• Support method development, validation, and optimization activities.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Quality, Manufacturing, and R&D stakeholders.
