Job summary

General Dynamics NASSCO Bremerton is seeking a Scheduling Technician to assist with daily, weekly, and quarterly project schedule updates in a naval shipyard environment. You will report to the Scheduling Supervisor, coordinate with production, planning, and engineering teams, and support accurate planning, budgeting, and reporting deliverables.

Some travel may be required. The role requires attention to detail, strong Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree with related experience or 3 years related experience.
• Experience building complex schedules preferred.
• Familiarity with ship repair/maintenance terminology preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Update P6 daily progress via progressing sheets.
• Email daily and weekly schedule progressing sheets to Area Managers, Production and Subcontractors as needed.
• Enter delays and schedule impacts.
• Assist Schedulers, Project Management Team, and Production in problem resolution and differentiate baseline work, change orders, and new work.
• Attend Project Management Team, Production, and other meetings as needed.
• Accomplish other duties as assigned.
