Job summary

NASSCO in Bremerton is seeking a Scheduler who will assist the scheduling team with daily, weekly, and monthly updates, maintain P6 progress, and circulate schedules to area managers, production, and subcontractors.

You will work under the Scheduling Supervisor, coordinate with project management, and help resolve delays, entering impacts and maintaining accurate planning, budgeting, and reporting for naval shipyard projects.

Qualifications

• Typically has AA/AS with related experience.
• Experience building complex schedules preferred.
• Familiar with ship repair, ship building, or maintenance terminology preferred.
• Proficient written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Assists scheduling team in reporting projects as necessary.
• Ability to multi-task effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• Must be organized and team oriented.
• Understanding of industrial quality, safety, and resource loading.

Responsibilities

• Update P6 daily progress via progressing sheets.
• Email daily and weekly schedule progressing sheets to Area Managers, Production and Subcontractors as needed.
• Enter delays and schedule impacts.
• Assist Schedulers, Project Management Team, and Production in problem resolution.
• Attend Project Management Team, Production, and other meetings as needed.
• Accomplish other duties as assigned.
