Job summary

Haskell is seeking an entry-level scheduler to develop foundational scheduling skills, support Lead/Senior Schedulers, and assist with the preparation and maintenance of project schedules.

You will learn to track actuals, generate look-ahead schedules, write monthly reporting narratives, analyze schedule paths, and help apply scheduling policy across multiple projects.

A bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or 0–2 years’ experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management preferred or 0–2 years of experience.
• Basic CPM principles and use of Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Basic blueprint reading and understanding of contract specifications.
• Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize complex tasks, meet schedules, and focus on goals.
• Knowledge of industry planning and scheduling practices and construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead/Senior Scheduler with applying and tracking actual start/finish for procurement and construction activities.
• Learn to compare actual progress against planned work activities.
• Facilitate schedule update meetings and support look-ahead schedule generation.
• Assist in writing monthly reporting requirements and narratives.
• Learn to analyze schedules and describe schedule/float paths for project completion.
• Support multiple projects and teams, applying scheduling policy and processes.
• Create/update construction project schedules and ensure data integrity.
• Assist with schedule change management and communication to project teams.
