Job summary

Element Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Scheduler to support owners and general contractors on complex education/public works projects in the Los Angeles area. The role focuses on reviewing Baseline and Monthly schedules, and producing schedule reports using Excel and Primavera P6.

The candidate will perform QA/QC on submittals, ensure proper code usage, and update the master schedule with projected dates, collaborating with Facilities teams and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide schedule review comments for Baseline and Monthly updates.
• Create schedule-related reports in Excel and P6.
• Create Earned Value curves per LAUSD templates.
• QA/QC on schedules for contract conformance.
• Analyze schedules for standard codes and data integrity.
• Update master schedule with as-built dates and inputs from Facilities teams.

Job description

Minimum Requirements

• One (1) year full-time paid professional experience responsible in Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably on multiple educational facilities or public works projects

Duties

• Work under the supervision of Senior Schedulers and Project Schedulers to provide construction schedule review comments for contractor-generated Baseline Schedules and Monthly Schedule updates based on LAUSD review templates
• Assist the scheduling team in creating and populating various schedule related reports in Excel and P6 software
• Create Earned Value Curves based on LAUSD EVA template guidelines
• Perform QA/QC on contractors’ schedule submittals for conformance with contract scope and requirements
• Analyze schedules for proper use of program level standard codes, layouts and reports necessary to ensure data integrity
• Perform QA/QC on P6 program schedules and validate logic ties to ensure conformance with scheduling guidelines for various project types
• Update the master program schedule with as-built start and finish dates while coordinating input from various Facilities teams on projected/forecast sequential start/finish dates

Required Education

• Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, engineering, or construction management

• Superior organizational and planning skills

Salary dependent on education and experience. Salary range: $110K-$130K
