Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. is seeking a driven MSC Seller in Grand Rapids to support sales growth through relationship-building and hands-on learning. You will shadow experienced sellers, assist accounts not yet assigned a full deck, and develop foundational selling and product knowledge.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; 2–4 year college degree preferred.
2–3 years outside direct sales/service preferred but not required.
Flexibility to relocate to an assigned territory as needed.

Responsibilities

Build and strengthen relationships with customers at functional and executive levels.
Develop strategies to deepen penetration within accounts and achieve targets.
Serve as trusted advisor delivering tailored, value‑driven solutions.
Lead implementation of major company programs within accounts.
Process orders, verify shipments, manage returns and stock inventory.
