Job summary

re-zoo-me is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join the API Engineering team and contribute to REST API design, development, testing, and documentation for business apps and partner integrations.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, architects, product managers, and QA to build secure, scalable APIs while learning modern software practices in a mentorship-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, SE, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• 0-2 years of professional software development experience.
• Exposure to building or consuming REST APIs through coursework or projects.
• Familiarity with Java, C#, .NET, or Spring Boot.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Build and maintain reusable components and integration services.
• Ensure APIs meet performance, reliability, and security requirements.
• Write API tests and participate in code reviews and CI/CD tasks.
• Contribute to API documentation and knowledge sharing.
