Job summary

re-zoo-me is seeking an Entry-Level Backend Developer to join the engineering team. The role focuses on back-end services, REST APIs, databases, and integration work for scalable applications.

Ideal for recent graduates or junior developers with hands-on project experience. You will work closely with frontend teams, QA, and senior developers in an Agile environment, contributing to code reviews and deployment tasks.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of backend development experience or equivalent project/internship experience.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Java, Python, Node.js, C#, Go).
• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
• Understanding of HTTP, authentication, and API concepts.
• Basic knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications and services.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable backend code.
• Work with databases and develop efficient queries.
• Implement business logic and application functionality.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
