Job summary

The University of Cincinnati seeks a researcher to plan, perform, evaluate, and coordinate electrochemical aptamer sensor experiments. The biosensors are developed to enable continuous molecular monitoring with partners in the diagnostic devices industry.

You will analyze data, manage lab projects, and contribute to test controls and standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance innovative biosensor devices for healthcare monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Four years of relevant work experience or specialized training can be used in lieu of education.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, test, and analyze data related to electrochemical aptamer sensors.
• Perform aptamer SELEX processes.
• Assist with the coordination of laboratory projects.
• Summarize test results; respond to concrete project/study questions.
• Assist in or may work independently on whole projects/problems; contribute to team effort and lab upkeep.
• Analyze research results.
• Organize data search and analysis procedures.
• Assist in establishing test controls, criteria and research standards.
• Perform related duties based on departmental need.
