Job summary

NXTThing RPO is seeking a Junior Reporting & Analytics Specialist to help design and maintain dashboards and data visuals. The role supports ETL, data extraction, and analysis to drive informed decisions across the organization.

The ideal candidate is a recent graduate with exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or Looker, and strong attention to detail. You will collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to data governance and documentation efforts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
  • 0-1 years of professional experience in reporting, analytics, or business intelligence (internships, co-ops, and academic projects welcome).
  • Basic proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Exposure to data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar (coursework or project experience counts).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills with an interest in translating data into clear insights.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Help automate recurring reports and processes to improve efficiency.
  • Support the preparation of clear, concise summaries of findings for team and stakeholder review.
  • Help ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting outputs.
  • Stay curious about industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and reporting.
