EcoLube Recovery is looking for a Junior Refinery Engineer in Portland, OR to join their innovative engineering team. You’ll work on optimizing plant operations and enhancing environmental sustainability while receiving mentorship and hands-on experience.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, plus the ability to manage projects and communicate effectively. A competitive salary of $70,000–$85,000 annually is offered, along with comprehensive benefits including health coverage and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Familiarity with technical drawings and control systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in basic mathematics, algebra, and geometry.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering, design, and implementation of new processes.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs of existing equipment.
• Assist with commissioning new processes in collaboration with plant management.
