Job summary

Leidos in Bowie, Maryland is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to design and implement real-time signal processing algorithms on GPUs. You will contribute to multi-disciplinary teams and develop high-performance C/C++ software for Linux on multi-core systems.

The role requires hands-on experience with NVIDIA development tools, CUDA kernels, and parallel computing, plus version control and CI. DoD Secret clearance eligibility is required; U.S. citizenship is necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 3+ years of software development experience, including strong experience in C/C++ software development.
• Experience with NVIDIA development and profiling tools and libraries.
• Experience using version control (Subversion, GIT, etc.) and continuous integration software tools.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance. (U.S. Citizenship is required)

Responsibilities

• Contributing to design and development of advanced systems as a part of multi-disciplinary teams.
• Achieving key project objectives and deliverables for entire projects or processes spanning multiple technical areas.
• Hand crafting CUDA kernels for high performance.
• Designing and implementing real-time C/C++ software for multi-core systems running Linux.
• Interface communication standards / protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, and DDS.
• Documenting the developed systems and supporting field testing.
