Job summary

InDyne supports the Atlantic Test Range Range Safety Office in Patuxent River, MD, delivering hazard analyses, risk mitigations, and real-time safety coverage for test events. This role ensures ORM-based risk controls and regulatory compliance within a premier East Coast open-air test range.

Ideal candidates will hold an ABET-accredited engineering degree (or related field), demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills, and be eligible for US DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in an engineering discipline from ABET-accredited school or related discipline (physics, mathematics or CS).
• Self-starter, flexible, and team-oriented to work with a technical team.
• Must be computer literate with strong analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hazard analyses and risk mitigations for test plans and external docs per NAVAIR safety instructions.
• Identify hazards, ensure safety, and obtain Range Safety approval before testing.
• Author and maintain range safety policies, guidance, and planning docs.
• Apply Operational Risk Management principles for hazardous test range operations.
• Provide real-time safety support during live-fire, flight, and testing events per policy.
• Monitor events to ensure compliance and protect assets and personnel.
