Job summary

InDyne, Inc. in Patuxent River, MD, is seeking a Junior Range Safety Engineer to support the ATR Range Safety Office. The role focuses on risk management, hazard analysis, and real-time safety support for Navy testing programs.

You will perform safety analyses, author guidance, and assist in documenting policies while complying with DoD requirements. A BS in engineering or related field is required, with strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related field from ABET-accredited program.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work in a technical team.
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety analyses, hazard evaluation and risk mitigations for test plans.
• Provide real-time safety support during live-fire and testing events.
• Author and maintain range safety policies and planning documentation.
