Job summary

InDyne, based at Patuxent River, MD, seeks a Range Safety Engineer to support the ATR Range Safety Office with hazard analysis, safety planning, policy documentation, and real-time operational test support.

The role requires a BS in engineering or related field, strong ORM knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to obtain US DoD security clearance. Travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in an engineering discipline or related field (physics, mathematics, or CS).
• Must be self-starter, flexible, and team-oriented.
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be computer literate and able to pass drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Safety Analysis & Hazard Evaluation: conduct analyses, hazard mitigations, and ORM-compliant reviews.
• Policy, Guidance & Documentation: author and maintain range safety policies and planning docs.
• Mission Operations & Real-Time Support: provide real-time safety support during live-fire and test events, ensuring risk is managed and compliant.
