Zusammenfassung

MCSA seeks an entry-level Health Safety Technician support role for the DUF6 project. Under close supervision, you will assist in radiological control tasks, support the Radiological Protection Plan, and help generate data and reports with guidance from senior staff.

You will gain exposure to RADCON duties, safety programs, and potential certification progression while working within an ES&H framework. Equal opportunity employer encouraging diverse applicants.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD-12) credential.
• Preferred to have six months of work experience in applied physics or show applicable education and/or training.
• Meet professional certification requirements - progression toward National Registry of Radiation Protection Technologist (NRRPT) certification desired.
• Successful completion of the RAD WORKER TRAINING: RAD Core Academic, RAD Site specific.
• Pass a pre-employment background and drug-screen examination, as well as periodic random drug screens.
• General awareness training of asbestos and PCB.
• Could be included in the temperature extremes monitoring program.

Aufgaben

• Assist the Senior Health Safety Technician in radiological control duties under ES&H for DUF6 project.
• Implement day-to-day program aspects of Radiological Protection Plan under guidance.
• Support generation of radiological data and reports.
• Support RADCON personnel in activities per written plans and procedures.
• May perform limited HST RAD responsibilities and non-respirator radiological work in controlled areas.
• Conduct limited job coverage duties of low hazard.
• Perform surveys and collect waste as assigned.
