Job summary

DUF6-MCS LLC seeks an entry-level Health Safety Technician to support radiological control under supervision in the DUF6 project. You will assist in implementing the Radiological Protection Plan and help generate data and reports under guidance.

Responsibilities include assisting with RADCON activities, performing limited HST RAD tasks after training, and handling waste as needed. Strong safety mindset and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• HSPD-12 credential is required/obtainable.
• NRRPT certification progression is preferred.
• RAD Core Academic and site-specific RAD training completed or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Health Safety Technician in radiological control duties.
• Support generation of radiological data and reports.
• Support radiological control personnel in work plans, protocols and procedures.
• Perform limited HST RAD responsibilities after training, such as operating counting instrumentation and routine surveys.
• Collect, clean up, and bag waste produced during tasks.
