Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Junior Radar Modeling Engineer in Huntsville to join a team that develops radar system models and software for RF and EW projects.

Responsibilities include creating analytic to high-fidelity RF models, integrating into simulation architectures, and documenting results. Candidates should hold a ABET-accredited bachelor’s in a relevant field, have strong C++, MATLAB or Python skills, and hold an active SECRET clearance with US citizenship.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree required in EE, CE, SE, Math or Physics.
• Strong C++ and object-oriented programming background.
• Experience with modeling and simulation systems.
• Familiarity with MATLAB or Python.
• Active SECRET clearance (US citizenship required).
• Resident of North Alabama or willingness to relocate to Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

• Develop analytic to high-fidelity RF models for EW analysis.
• Integrate models into real-time/non-real-time simulation architectures.
• Assess operator-in-the-loop effects on radar and missile simulations.
• Develop threat models including waveform scheduling, tracking, and signal processing.
• Perform simulation, GUI development, testing, and documentation.
