Job summary

Peak Nano, a US-based AI-driven technology company, is seeking an extrusion technician to join the R&D group in a junior hands-on role. You will operate extrusion lines, perform setup and tear down, and ensure safe, high-quality film production.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years on plastics extrusion equipment, strong math and reporting skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team within a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 2+ years in manufacturing.
• 1+ years hands-on operation of plastics processing equipment (extruders).
• Lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Follow quality systems, policies, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Own the operation of extrusion lines, including setup, changeover, film production, and tear down.
• Troubleshooting processing issues to produce high quality films.
• Provide recommendations and implement solutions to resolve equipment/process problems promptly.
• Ensure machines are functional and safe to operate.
• Report safety problems immediately and operate equipment safely.
• Write and revise SOPs.
• Perform 5S activities.
• Perform basic property testing of polymers and films.
• Handle all material movements (raw materials and finished goods).
