Job summary

Peak Nano is seeking a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Technician in Ohio to support our extrusion operations. You will follow established procedures to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency while documenting defects and escalating issues as needed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED (or 4+ years in manufacturing) and can lift up to 50 lbs. Proficiency with Excel/Word and willingness to learn are valued as the team grows and adapts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; or 4+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to changes, and apply new skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Proficient with Excel and Word.
• Experience operating a tow motor or pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures to ensure safety, quality, and consistency.
• Recognize and document defects or deviations; escalate to protect product quality.
• Adapt to evolving team structures, schedules, and responsibilities as operations scale.
• Develop a mechanical understanding of the extrusion process for career growth.
• Maintain organized workspaces to facilitate cleaning, inspection, and operations.
• Support film extrusion from tooling changes to metrology testing and characterization.
• Perform material handling of raw materials, FG, and WIP.
