Job summary

Peak Nano LLC is seeking Manufacturing Technicians to join our growing team. Responsibilities include following procedures for safety and quality, identifying defects, and supporting film extrusion operations from changeovers to metrology testing.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED (or 4+ years manufacturing), are eager to learn, adaptable to change, and able to lift up to 50 lbs while standing for long periods. Proficiency with Excel/Word is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High School diploma or GED; or 4+ years’ experience in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn and apply new skills, concepts, and applications
• Flexible and capable of adapting to change
• Safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs when necessary; remain standing/walking for extended periods of time
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications: Excel and Word
• Ability to perform basic math, measurements, and metrology, if needed
• Experience with operating a tow motor and/or material handling equipment, such as a pallet jack

• Recognize and document defects or deviations from specifications, escalating issues to ensure product quality and process integrity
• Adaptable to evolving team structures, schedules, and responsibilities as operations scale
• Develop mechanical understanding of the extrusion process to further career growth within the manufacturing team
• Establish and maintain organized workspaces that make cleaning, inspection, and daily operations easier and more efficient
• Support film extrusion operations from tooling or product changeovers to metrology testing and characterization

Required Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or 4+ years’ experience in manufacturing
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn and apply new skills, concepts, and applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s, or other post-secondary education

• Electrical and/or mechanical aptitude strongly preferred
