Qualifications

• Experience investigating defects and customer complaints.
• Experience with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Familiarity with 5-Why, Fishbone, and 8D methodologies.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality systems.
• Manufacturing environment experience; metal fabrication a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate customer complaints and product defects from identification to resolution.
• Perform root-cause analyses using 5-Why, Fishbone, and 8D methods.
• Develop and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Communicate quality issues and technical instructions to production staff.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to ensure conformance.
• Assist with NCRs, CARs, and related quality documentation.
• Support calibration activities and maintain quality records.
• Help improve ISO 9001:2015 quality system processes.
• Identify trends and propose process improvements.
• Collaborate with production to prevent recurrence.
• Prepare clear technical reports and customer responses.
• Support audits and other quality-system activities.
• Take increasing ownership of day-to-day quality operations.
