Job summary

Benchmark Electronics Inc is seeking a Quality Engineer to design, implement, and evaluate QA processes across manufacturing. You will analyze contract requirements, validate SPC limits, and develop control plans to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory standards.

In this role you will interface with engineering, suppliers, and customers to drive continuous quality improvements, conduct audits, maintain documentation, and support a data-driven approach using KPIs and QA tools.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and evaluating QA processes and tools.
• Familiarity with quality standards (FDA QSR, ISO, ITAR, IATF).
• Ability to perform data analysis and document findings.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contract requirements to determine quality controls.
• Validate SPC limits and audit processes for out-of-control conditions.
• Create control plans aligned to requirements.
• Assist in pilot runs and preproduction analysis.
• Review production specs for conformance to drawings.
• Develop and maintain QA records and documentation.
• Conduct quality audits and prepare reports.
• Support KPI-driven continuous quality improvement.
