Job summary

Aitech Defense Systems in Los Angeles is seeking a Junior Quality Engineer to support the Quality Management System and customer quality requirements in a regulated environment. You will work with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, customers, and suppliers to ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO standards and contract requirements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in an engineering field and at least 1 year of quality engineering experience, with hands-on exposure to quality tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Electrical/Mechanical/Manufacturing/Quality)
• At least 1 year of experience in Quality Engineering
• Familiarity with AS9100/ISO quality standards is a plus

Responsibilities

• Review customer purchase orders and quality requirements to ensure accurate flow down.
• Create, maintain, and track nonconformance material reports (NCMRs) and MRB dispositions.
• Assist with root cause investigations using quality tools (5-Why, Fishbone, RCCA, 8D).
• Support internal audits, supplier quality activities, and first-article processes.
