Qualifications

• Read blueprints and instructions to understand quality expectations.
• Inspect in-process production by confirming specifications and performing visual and measurement tests; communicate adjustments to supervisor.
• Approve finished products by confirming specs, performing tests, and returning for re-work as needed.
• Document inspection results by completing reports/logs and inputting data into the quality database.
• Approve or reject raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance.
• Prepare and submit reports to the quality manager.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies.
• Inspect in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
• Approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizes re-work and waste, and inputs data into quality database.
• Approve or reject raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance.
• Prepare and submit reports to the quality manager.
• Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive action for process, product, internal, and external customer concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned
