Job summary

Biz Technology Solutions, a New Charter Company, is seeking a Junior Software QA Tester to join our Managed Application Services team. You will test custom applications across client environments, learning client operations to test real-world workflows and identify edge cases.

You will write test plans, perform manual (and some automated) testing across web and desktop apps, log defects, and collaborate with developers and client stakeholders to confirm fixes.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of QA experience or similar
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and lifecycle
• Ability to write clear test plans and test cases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients and team

Responsibilities

• Write clear, thorough test plans and test cases from requirements
• Execute manual testing across web and desktop apps (and automation where applicable)
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Learn client operations to test in real-world context
• Collaborate with developers, PMs, and clients to confirm fixes and ensure quality
• Perform regression testing for new releases and communicate status clearly
• Train end users on how to use the solutions
