York Solutions, LLC is seeking a Testing Lead to drive ERP testing leadership and hands-on execution during a confidential ERP/platform transition. You will build out the testing process, execute test scripts, facilitate UAT, and coordinate with internal stakeholders, engineers, and the implementation vendor.

Strong communication, organization, and patience are essential. You will lead large-scale testing efforts, manage Jira defects, and synthesize status reports while focusing on vendor

Responsibilities

• Define, implement QA strategy across systems, applications, and integrations.

• Manage Jira defects and synthesize ticket status for stakeholders.

Job Description

Description ERP Testing Lead role supporting a confidential ERP/platform transition. The client needs someone with hard ERP implementation testing experience who can both build out the testing process and execute within it. They will work closely with internal stakeholders, engineers, business users, and the implementation vendor to create/use test cases, run scripts, facilitate UAT, manage Jira defects, and synthesize vendor/internal ticket status. The environment is small and relatively immature from a testing/implementation standpoint, so the right person needs strong patience, communication, organization, and emotional intelligence, not just QA methodology. Automation experience is a bonus, but ERP testing leadership, hands-on execution, vendor coordination, and business-user facilitation are the real priorities.

Looking for someone who’s got experience leading large-scale testing efforts with strong leadership, organizational, & communication skills to help us navigate an impending ERP transition. Think gathering & documenting test cases/plans, leading integrated testing efforts, facilitating UAT, vendor defect management, etc. Automation would be a great bonus

Job Profile Summary

The Testing Lead (QA Lead) is responsible for defining, implementing, and governing the quality assurance strategy across systems, applications, and integrations. This role leads all testing efforts, including functional, integration, data validation, automation, and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring high-quality software delivery aligned with business requirements.

The Testing Lead partners closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and external vendors to identify risks early, drive defect resolution, and continuously improve testing practices. This position also plays a key leadership role in test planning, execution, reporting, and the adoption of modern QA methodologies, including automation and continuous testing.
