You will learn dimensional checks, material verification, weld inspection per AWS D1.1, and documentation duties while growing with a team that values craftsmanship and precision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read tape measurements to 1/16”.
• Familiarity with structural steel blueprints/shop drawings.
• Comfort using tablets or computers for logging reports.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist dimensional checks against shop drawings.
• Track material grades, heat numbers, and traceability.
• Perform basic weld visual inspections per AWS D1.1.
• Fill inspection logs and non-conformance reports.
• Record coating dry film thickness of paint/primer.
