Job summary

MSR-FSR LLC seeks a Structural Steel QA/QC professional to perform inspection and documentation within a semiconductor fab environment. Responsibilities include architectural inspections, coordination with stakeholders, and maintaining QA records.

The role requires weld inspection experience (3–5 years), semiconductor industry background (2–5 years), and a CWI or NDT Level II certification. Strong knowledge of codes and standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have construction and inspection experience for structural steel and welds.
• Able to read structural blueprints and current code requirements.
• Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) or NDT Level II required.
• Deep knowledge of applicable codes and standards for the field.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular architectural inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and contract documents.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to plan construction activities and address quality issues.
• Document QA programs, maintain records, and generate reports as required.
• Conduct QC inspections of welds and inspections per ITP and method statements.
• Communicate with subcontractors, engineers, and owner representatives to facilitate project activities.
• Attend project and strategy meetings and represent the company in discussions.
• Perform final quality checks on structural welds.
