Job summary

PerfectServe, a leader in clinical communication solutions, seeks an early-career automation-focused tester. You will learn, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, while contributing to test plans and scenarios based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • Some prior technical experience in software testing, automation, scripting, development, or related technical area.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or another programming/technology-related field from an accredited higher education institution.
  • Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and/or Agile delivery practices.
  • Familiarity with test automation concepts and an interest in building skills in automation tools and frameworks.
  • Exposure to one or more programming or scripting languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Python, or C#.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Health IT experience (a plus)

The ideal candidate is early in their automation career but has already demonstrated sound software testing fundamentals, familiar with programming concepts, and has a desire to grow in test automation. This individual will be comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment and willing to pivot between manual and automated testing based on team priorities and business needs.

This position requires interaction with people and technology while either standing or sitting. Salary range

We offer a salary range of $75,000-115,000 USD per year, with compensation tailored to your background, strengths, and growth potential. This range reflects our commitment to pay transparency and is based on market data, internal equity, and the scope of responsibilities. Compensation is determined by several factors, including experience, skills, and team impact. We regularly review compensation to ensure fairness and consistency.
