Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Jr. Project Manager to support large-scale data center and heavy industrial construction projects. This role involves assisting in planning, scheduling, tracking expenses, and coordinating with clients and subcontractors to keep projects on time and within budget.

You will work both independently and with a team, read drawings and specs, prepare reports, and participate in meetings to resolve design issues and drive project success.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of direct experience in project management or construction
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Strong computer skills and quick to learn new systems

• Effective scheduling and delegation to accomplish tasks on time

• Familiar with computer-based estimating and knowledge of billing and collections

About this Role

This is a remote travel role 100% onsite at client projects. Overtime eligible. Per diem provided.

The Junior Project Manager supports the Project Manager to support a growing portfolio of large-scale construction projects, primarily within the rapidly expanding data center market. Additional projects span the chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, and other heavy industrial sectors. The Junior Project engineer will assist overseeing and coordinating various aspects of a project, such as change requests, project planning and scheduling, monitoring project progress, communicating with stakeholders, coordinating with team members and subcontractors, tracking project expenses, and ensuring that the project stays on track and within budget. The Junior Product Manager may also be responsible for preparing reports and assisting in resolving any project-related issues that arise during the course of the project. Ultimately, the Junior Project Manager plays a key role in helping to ensure that the project is completed successfully and meets its objectives.
