CareerNerds, LLC is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support large-scale construction projects, primarily within the data center market. The role involves coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to keep projects on track and within budget.

You will assist in estimating scope and costs, tracking expenses, and preparing reports while communicating with stakeholders and participating in owner/contractor/architect/engineer meetings as needed.

About this Role

This is a remote travel role 100% onsite at client projects. Overtime eligible. Per diem provided.

The Junior Project Manager supports the Project Manager to support a growing portfolio of large-scale construction projects, primarily within the rapidly expanding data center market. Additional projects span the chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, and other heavy industrial sectors. The Junior Project engineer will assist overseeing and coordinating various aspects of a project, such as change requests, project planning and scheduling, monitoring project progress, communicating with stakeholders, coordinating with team members and subcontractors, tracking project expenses, and ensuring that the project stays on track and within budget. The Junior Product Manager may also be responsible for preparing reports and assisting in resolving any project-related issues that arise during the course of the project. Ultimately, the Junior Project Manager plays a key role in helping to ensure that the project is completed successfully and meets its objectives.

What You’ll Do

• Research and recommend solutions to design document problems, including conflicts, interferences, and errors/omissions
• Monitor field work and/or contract work to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, specifications, and codes
• Assist with the submittal and RFI processes
• Assist in the early completion and tracking of billing
