Job summary

BLOX is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager I to support end-to-end project execution within our Design Manufacture Construct delivery model in the BLOX environment. This entry-level role blends office-based program coordination with onsite field support, with emphasis shifting between the two based on project phase and assignment.

The APM I role centers on information fluency—gathering, processing, and communicating data to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in construction, manufacturing, or project management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Working proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, sorting and filtering, basic pivot tables).
• Familiarity with scheduling platforms (MS Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Bluebeam.
• Ability to travel 25–50% depending on project phase and assignment.
• Ownership mindset and commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain program schedules and enterprise coordination artifacts.
• Maintain Buyout Logs for Manufacturing, FKOP/DTS, and Subcontractors; update status and flag slippage.
• Capture Quality Feedback Loop inputs and track corrective actions.
• Support FKOP transfer and module custody transfer documentation.
• Assist in MFG constraint elimination for program-related items.
• Organize and route project information to stakeholders at the right time.
• Participate in weekly POSR and QFL meetings; contribute to agendas and minutes.
• Assist in project closeout: document organization, punch list tracking, and warranty turnover.
• Provide onsite support during module set, punch, and other construction milestones.
• Assist with onsite material receiving and tracking.
• Support subcontractor onboarding and orientation.
• Generate safety and quality observation reports.
• Assist the Field PM with Client Weekly Progress Report.
• Maintain accurate onsite documentation: daily logs, photographs, and issue tracking.
