Kilnstone Talent Solutions is seeking a Junior Project Manager with direct commercial architectural millwork experience to coordinate projects from award through installation. The role emphasizes client communication, complex drawing interpretation, and cross-functional teamwork on onsite projects in River Falls, WI.

Ideal candidate has about two years of millwork-related experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with ERP and project management tools.

Salary: $75,000–$80,000 annually

Schedule: Monday–Friday | Fully Onsite | 40+ hours per week

Candidates must have direct professional experience working on commercial architectural millwork projects. General construction project management experience alone does not meet this requirement.

Kilnstone Talent Solutions is recruiting for an established commercial architectural millwork manufacturer seeking a Junior Project Manager to join its growing team.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with approximately two years of relevant commercial architectural millwork project experience who enjoys coordinating projects, building customer relationships, and supporting projects from award through final installation.

The company has more than 40 years of experience delivering custom architectural millwork for commercial projects nationwide. A strong project backlog and continued investment in employees support opportunities for professional growth.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Direct commercial architectural millwork project experience — REQUIRED.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents — REQUIRED.
• Experience coordinating customers, contractors, engineering, manufacturing, and installation.
• Ability to handle light project troubleshooting and coordinate solutions with technical and field teams.
• Strong organization, communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• ERP software familiarity and computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Ability to work fully onsite in River Falls, Wisconsin, Monday–Friday, 40+ hours per week, with periodic business travel.

Approximately two years of relevant experience is preferred. Candidates with commercial casework, cabinetry, or woodworking backgrounds must have experience involving relevant commercial architectural millwork scope.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate commercial architectural millwork projects from award through final completion.
• Serve as a primary contact for customers, general contractors, architects, and internal teams.
• Review contracts, specifications, architectural drawings, and project documents.
• Coordinate submittals, shop drawings, requests for information (RFIs), material procurement, production schedules, and installation timelines.
• Work with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Field Installation to resolve issues and keep projects moving.
• Identify project risks, handle light troubleshooting, and escape issues requiring specialized support.
• Track budgets, forecasts, project financial performance, and change-order documentation.
• Manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate project records, and communicate schedule or scope changes clearly.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Support project delivery according to established quality standards and timelines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Approximately two years of relevant project experience in commercial architectural millwork.
• Experience with Bluebeam.
• Familiarity with Microvellum, ProjectPAK, or similar industry software.

WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL & RELOCATION

• Travel: Periodic project-site visits and customer meetings as needed.
• Relocation: Candidates may relocate at their own expense. Paid relocation assistance is not available.

Base Salary: $75,000–$80,000 annually
