Realign Llc is seeking a junior Project Manager to support planning and execution of a large Workday implementation. You will manage day-to-day project mechanics and keep plans, meetings, decisions, risks, dependencies, and deliverables moving forward.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of project-management experience and workday exposure, suitable for an early-career PM ready to take ownership alongside senior leaders, tech teams, and partners.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of project management or closely related project-delivery experience.
  • Experience coordinating internal teams, external implementation partners, and software vendors.
  • Strong command of core project-management mechanics, including planning, scheduling, risk/issue management, and meeting facilitation.
  • Proficiency with standard project-management and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the integrated project plan, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and critical-path activities.
  • Coordinate day-to-day project activities across HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Security, Data, Change Management, and implementation-partner teams.
  • Schedule and facilitate project meetings, working sessions, status reviews, and decision forums.
  • Prepare agendas, capture decisions and action items, assign owners, and follow through to completion.
  • Maintain project governance materials, status reports, dashboards, RAID logs, decision logs, and other project documentation.
  • Track risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies; elevate concerns with clear context and recommended next steps.
  • Monitor workstream progress and proactively identify conflicts, resource constraints, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Support requirements, design, configuration, data conversion, integration, testing, training, deployment, and stabilization activities.
  • Coordinate testing schedules, defect-management activities, readiness checkpoints, and deliverable reviews.
  • Work closely with the Workday implementation partner and internal teams to align responsibilities, timelines, and acceptance criteria.
  • Help functional and technical teams convert discussions into specific actions, owners, and deadlines.
  • Support change-control processes and assess the impact of requested scope, schedule, or resource changes.
  • Develop concise project communications for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Maintain organized, accessible project records and ensure that teams are working from current information.
  • Promote consistent project-management practices without creating unnecessary administrative overhead.
