Job summary

Talisman is seeking a Capital Markets analyst to support debt and tax equity capital raising across project and portfolio financings, with mentoring from experienced professionals and significant deal exposure early in your career.

You will report to the Director of Capital Markets and be involved in modelling, due diligence, and live transactions while developing strong analytical and presentation capabilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience from a bank or sponsor, with project finance or debt capital markets background.
• Project finance experience in power generation or energy infrastructure.
• Strong, hands-on project finance modelling skills from day one.
• Bachelor's or graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, sharp attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Positive, proactive attitude and ability to juggle shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player excited about the energy transition and renewables.

Responsibilities

• Financing execution: support structuring, analysis, negotiation and execution of project and portfolio debt and tax equity transactions.
• Modelling and analysis: build and maintain financial models to support capital raising and compare financing options.
• Reporting and strategy: prepare periodic reports and lead ad hoc analysis for the business.
